JUAN ESTEBAN NARANJO

COLOMBIA
BMX RIDER
I was born in Chinchiná, Caldas, a small town in Colombia that shaped my character with its simplicity, resilience, and love for sport. My BMX journey began at just six years old, when I saw a group of riders flying through the air on a local track and instantly knew I wanted to be like them. That spark turned into a lifelong passion. With the unconditional support of my family and countless hours of training on dusty urban tracks, I rose through the ranks, becoming multiple-time Latin American and Pan American champion, three-time national champion, and European runner-up. I now compete with DN Joué-lès-Tours in France, where I train at the highest level, ranked among the world’s top BMX riders and focused on reaching the Olympic podium.
Beyond the bike, I believe in building a life of purpose and balance. I’m pursuing a degree in Business Engineering because I know that life after sports is just as important as the career itself. I speak three languages — Spanish, English, and French — and I’m committed to growing not just as an athlete, but as a person. My mission is to represent Colombia with pride, inspire young dreamers across the country, and leave a lasting legacy in BMX — one that shows what’s possible when you combine discipline, faith, and joy in the pursuit of greatness.
